TVC presenter, Akashat Ny’mat, has knocked singer Davido for going on US radio programme to say Nigeria’s economy is in shambles. While speaking on a programme on the TV station this morning, Ny'mat couldn't hide her displeasure at Davido's comment. According to her, he de-marketed Nigeria by the comments he made about Nigeria and her economy.
‘’Asiwaju is taking a plane to look for foreign investors that will come here, he has told them ‘don’t come'. We know that the country is hard. We know that these reforms were forced on us because if we had continued to feed the elite, we would be worse off. They had to take off subsidy, stop the payment. Allocation has increased to governors but we are not asking the governors. We have removed the supplement that we give to dollars so we can buy cheaply, we are now forced to buy how we see it and that this is a real value. We are suffering under that weight, and what you can say is tell them it's bad here as if it is not bad (there)'
The point is, no matter how true your truth is, hold your truth if it is not going to be of service to your people.'
